Police Investigating NASCAR's Kurt Busch Intended For Domestic Assault

One among NASCAR's top drivers, Kurt Busch, is currently being investigated for domestic assault, Delaware law enforcement said Friday.

The Dover, Delaware, police department released a statement suggesting its investigators first heard about the allegation at 2 p. m. Wednesday.

"The department continues to be investigating the victim's claims and won't have any further inquire into this matter so as to preserve the integrity from the case, " police within the Delaware capital mentioned.

Busch's attorney, Rustic Hardin, said his client expects being vindicated.

"This allegation is really a complete fabrication by the woman who has refused to just accept the end of the relationship, and Mr. Busch vehemently denies her allegations in each and every respect, " he said in the written statement.

Information on the claim have not been released. NASCAR contests were held within Dover on September 27 and 28.

Mike Arning, a spokesman intended for Busch's Stewart-Haas Auto racing team, said, "This is surely an allegation Stewart-Haas Racing takes very critically, but we're still gathering each of the facts and are not capable to comment in increased detail. "
