Ronda Rousey’s recent blitz through the best UFC competition has led the organization to recruit a completely new contender.

UFC President Dana White on Thursday posted upon his Twitter account a signed contract as well as a photo of unbeaten Holly Holm (7-0), a former professional kickboxer and boxer whom Rousey has said she’d prefer to fight.

The 5-foot-8" Holm, 32, has 6 knockouts and 1 victory by decision in her mixed martial arts(mma) career.

White told The Times in the text message Thursday that he plans to give Holm at least 1 non-title fight before matching her in opposition to Rousey.

Venice’s Rousey (10-0) has won 9 of her fights in the 1st round, and needed just 16 seconds to beat challenger Alexis Davis simply by technical knockout Saturday.

In February Rousey beat contender Sara McMann within 66 seconds.

Holm’s conversion to MMA has become supervised by respected Albuquerque instructors Greg Jackson and Mike Winklejohn.

White said he has not yet determined while Holm’s UFC debut will happen. She most recently fought in April and also suffered a broken arm.
